Things only Type-B teachers will understand-The Series (#2)

“It’ll be fine” is a professional philosophy

Some people panic. We pause.

The copier jams? It’ll be fine.

The Wi-fi goes down mid-lesson? It’ll be fine.

You accidentally scheduled two things at once? Deep breath. It’ll be fine.

Type-B teachers have mastered the art of non-catastrophic thinking. Because 90% of classroom “emergencies” are not emergencies. They’re simply inconveniences with dramatic timing.

We know that the lesson can shift, the activity can be simplified, they day can recover. And honestly? Students feed off our energy. If we spiral, they spiral. If we shrug and say “okay, plot twist,” they roll with it.

“It’ll be fine” isn’t laziness. It’s regulated leadership.
